Teaching his students was HARD.
Teaching his son was HARDER

"An incredibly influential Performance"

The critically-acclaimed solo play about Asperger’s, education and every child’s first teacher has been seen in theaters, festivals, colleges, universities, and health centers across the country.

When an elementary school teacher is accidentally transferred from a wealthy suburban school to his former school in an impoverished neighborhood of South LA, he faces many challenges outside of the classroom; including an unsatisfactory teacher-rating by the LA Times, his son’s recent diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome and the ghost of an old student coming back to visit.

Subjects: education, autism, standardized testing, at-risk youth.
